Landbou-ratkaste
Daar is verskeie tipes landbouratkaste, en hulle word in verskeie toepassings gebruik. Onder hulle is keëlratkaste, CZPT-spoedratkaste en wurmrat-spoedverminderaars. Kegelratkaste
Die moegheidslewe van keëlratkaste in landboutoerusting word bepaal deur die kumulatiewe skadesomme vir verskillende bewerkings. 'n Simulasiemodel is gebruik om die moegheidslewe van 'n spiraalvormige keëlrat te bepaal. Die opgehoopte skadesomme vir elke bewerking word in figuur 9a getoon. In keëlratkaste het die tweede as twee asse wat aan mekaar verbind is. Een as is deur middel van laers aan die buitenste oppervlak van die behuising 3 gemonteer, terwyl die ander as 'n flens het wat in die ratkas uitsteek. Die tweede as is deur middel van laers aan die ratkas en flens geheg. Dit word op hierdie manier gemonteer om die keëlrat glad te laat draai.
CZPT-spoedratkaste

CZPT-spoedkegelratkaste
